ABOUT US

Bibical Worship

Welcome to our community, a place where faith is lived and nurtured through the clear, powerful exposition of Scripture. We are grounded in the timeless principles that emphasize salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone, guided by the Scriptures alone. Our worship and teaching are deeply rooted in these truths, drawing both those familiar with evangelical traditions and those seeking a deeper theological foundation. Our commitment to biblical authority and the transformative power of the Gospel shapes every aspect of our fellowship and mission.
Our church is led by a dedicated team of elders, chosen for their commitment to living out and teaching the Word of God. They serve not just as leaders but as shepherds to our congregation, ensuring that we remain anchored in sound doctrine while fostering a nurturing, Christ-centered community. This biblical model of eldership is central to our spiritual well-being and growth, offering both accountability and support as we journey together in faith. We invite you to join us as we seek to glorify God in all things, building a vibrant community of believers rooted in the richness of His grace.

WORSHIP STYLE

Music:
The music portion of our worship service is a blend of contemporary and hymn-style songs new and old. There is no wrong style of worship. We strive to edify with our music and singing so that the congregation may sing with their spirit and also their understanding, so our music will not include some modern songs that are unscriptural or overly man-centered.

1 Corinthians 14:15 (ESV)[...] I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also."

Preaching:
We have multiple ministers that preach and hold one another accountable to bring edifying sermons focusing on who God is though the person and work of Jesus Christ. We strive to study carefully the treasure of scripture so that our congregation can be informed and challenged with expository style preaching.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Exposition:
We devote ourselves to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Sunday morning services are to be an exposition of scripture though the bible, presented in the same order as it was written by the Holy Spirit. The ministry team strives to exposit scripture in such a way that God is revealed in each sermon, and by knowing God our congregants can better understand their relationship with God.

Accountability:
We recognize that those who come to us and enter fellowship with us are disciples of Jesus. We will strive to hold ourselves and each other up the standards of christian living that are laid out in scripture. We will hold each other accountable to the point of discipline so that those who are disciplined will have that Godly grief that leads to salvation written of in 2 Corinthians 7:10.

2 Corinthians 7:10 (ESV) For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.

Charity:
Christians are to be marked by their love for one another. As a church we recognize our primary responsibility is to true-widows and orphans and believers who have fallen on difficult trials. We strive to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves; every dollar given for the furtherance of the gospel will be spent prayerfully with a view to eternal priorities.

John 13:34-35 (ESV) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Discipleship:
We reject formulaic-style methods to "Lead someone to the Lord" as a means to further the kingdom of God. Scripture is clear that faith comes by hearing the Word about Jesus Christ. So we will make every effort to speak the truth of the gospel so that every person can mature in faith.

Romans 1:16-17 (ESV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith."
